Zone’s

f you turkey hunt you’ve probably heard of strut zone’s, comfort zone and in my case twilight zone, ha, ha! Let me tell you of the third zone.
    Dusting areas or zones. No matter where you hunt, turkey are going to dust. They dig out basketball size holes in soft dirt and with their wings, flop the dust on their feathers. This helps with lice and other no-see-ums. After no luck at daybreak, my hunter and I set up around 9 a.m. in the buffet of zones, i.e.: dusting, strutting and comfort.
