Frost

No, not yet. A lot of people dread the first frost, for hunters, it means the change is here. For deer hunters, all the acorns will now hit the ground, leaves will start falling very fast and that magical time (the rut) is beginning. For deer, romance is in the air. For duck hunters? At least now we get to see the lily pads cry. It’s over for the year for them. Also, "Mr. No- Shoulders" starts looking for hibernation spots. We also know if we haven’t got our duck blind brush staged, it might be to late.
All-in-all, it’s a time of year all animals start preparing for the winter. Almost by nature, hunters start paying closer attention to the weather. Snow geese can be seen and their barking yelps can be heard all night long.
