BMS cross country prepares for season

Bolivar Middle School cross country team prepares for its season by hosting its first meet at home on Thursday, September 3.
“We are a young team this year. I only have three returning runners that I expect to be in the top 15 in each meet to receive a medal. They are motivated and all competitive and work hard everyday in practice. I have no doubt the team will bring home a trophy from each meet,” BMS Cross Country Coach Alison Wright said. “Excited to see what they will be up against.”
Team members include Austin Cossar, Trey Ellison, Ray-Vin Fish, Toris Woods, JaQuan Lax, Elijah McNeal, Tray Stewart and James TerBurgh for the boys team. For the girls, Tamya Blakemore, Brianna Bryant and Natoria Woods will represent BMS.
BMS gets its first taste of their opponents on Thursday at home.
