FA recognizes outstanding ACT achievement

Fayette Academy, a college preparatory school in Somerville, Tennessee is honored to recognize 33 students who scored a 30 or above in at least one or more content areas on the ACT as well as 8 students who scored a composite score of 30 or above.
“We are very proud of all of our students on this wonderful accomplishment,” noted Headmaster Ron Canada. “The hard work of students and teachers is paying off in dividends. We are committed to doing all we can to make sure all of our students are fully prepared for college and the workforce.”
The ACT is a national college admissions examination that consists of subject area tests including English, mathematics, reading, and science. The ACT also includes an optional writing component. ACT results are accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the United States. The ACT includes 215 multiple choice questions and takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete. The ACT is administered on six test dates within the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
Presently, Fayette Academy offers three ACT preparatory classes for students on a daily basis. The curriculum includes a focus on English, mathematics, reading, science, writing, and test-taking skills.
