Samuel Green Smith, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, March 15, 2015 at the Bolivar General Hospital. On July 18, 1939 he was born to the late Joe Smith and Mary L. Vinson-Smith. Funeral service was held Tuesday, March 24 at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home – Bolivar, with Reverend Edward Bowers Jr. delivering the eulogy. Burial was in the Little Walnut Grove MB Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.
