Vaughan Oil Continues Holiday Giving Tradition

Vaughan Oil Company continued its tradition of holiday giving by providing free kerosene heating oil to needy households.

The giveaway on December 21 was the seventh year Vaughan Oil has hosted the event.

“We are happy to give back to the community this way,” said Vaughan Oil’s Greg Vaughan. “I want to thank Hardeman County and the City of Bolivar for helping screen those who are in need this time of year.”

Vaughan Oil also got help from State Senator Page Walley’s office and State Representative Johnny Shaw was represented as well in distributing the oil. 

As has been done in past years, Vaughan Oil partnered with local governments to identify those in need as both Hardeman County and Bolivar City governments screened the applicants until thirty applicants were found.
