Parker Signs with Blue Mountain

Tucker Parker of Bolivar signed to play college golf at Blue Mountain College on December 1.

Parker, who played his freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons at Bolivar Central, will be the first golf scholarship signing in 11 years for the NAIA School.

“We are very happy to add Tucker to our team,” said Kevin Barefield, who is in his eighth year as head coach of the Blue Mountain College Men’s Golf Team.

Blue Mountain comes into the spring season in 2024 ranked #23 in the nation in the pre-season coaches poll and is the top ranked team from Mississippi. Blue Mountain competes in the Southern States Athletic Conference. They finished second in the conference championships in Spring 2023.
