BREAKING: UPDATE: BCHS evacuated for second day in a row

UPDATE: K-9 units and law enforcement are current searching BCHS. Students and staff have been evacuated to Bolivar Elementary School (BES) and the roads remained closed around the school as the search is underway. Officials said they were currently investigating yesterday's bomb threat when this one was called in today.

For the second day in a row, students and staff at Bolivar Central High School (BCHS) have been evacuated and safety procedures are being initiated after a bomb threat was called in at approximately noon today, Friday, January 30.

Students and staff were evacuated for three hours yesterday when a bomb threat was called into Hardeman County Sheriff's Office dispatch. Students and staff waited for the K-9 units to search and secure the school before re-entering.
