Resisting 'Old Man Winter'

Over a hundred traffic accidents in Shelby County. Schools closed. Businesses closed Government offices closed. The weather this past week or so has wreaked havoc all across the Mid-South. Hardeman County residents were recipients of this winter turmoil in other ways as well. There was a rise in respiratory infections and a great number of painful, even if not serious, injuries due to falls. Unfortunately winter still has time to inflict more of the same. Since we cannot do anything about the cause, perhaps we can employ some simple, even common sense, methods to lessen the effects..
