Final week of Extension Month Spotlight: Lindsay Griffin
This is the final week in Extension month, and you will get to learn about me, Lindsay Griffin. I am the other Agricultural and Natural Resources agent for the county with primary duties with row-crops.
I started in February 2014, and the wonderful people in the county have made my first year in extension wonderful!
Some of the things that I have planned for this year are to have county standardized test for corn and soybeans, monitor a sentinel plot to determine the type of Frog Eye Leaf Spot we have in the county, work with industry associates to keep you informed of the most up-to-date information available, work with Lee in planning an estate planning workshop and be a source of information for you, the citizens of Hardeman County.
Since I am still relatively new to the county, here is a little information about me. I grew up on my parents farm in Bells. In 2004, I earned my Bachelors from Mississippi State University in Agriculture Engineering, Technology, and Business with a concentration in Gin Management and Technology.
