Terminated DCS official seeks re-instatement

After being terminated from his job as Southwest Deputy Regional Administrator (DRA) for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services (DCS), a DCS official is appealing his termination and asking for his job back. His claim is based on the delayed time frame of termination from his incident and claims of retaliation and hostile work environment.
Warren Clay Crook was terminated on August 3, 2015 as DRA of the 11 county DCS region, which includes Hardeman County. The termination came six months after Crook was arrested on allegations of firing a weapon in the presence of  teenagers parked in front of his home in Lexington.
